It’s been a while since I’ve added a new entry to this site, mainly because of the time I’m putting in reviewing for RHCSA. I’m almost done with one of the key areas of the exam, and there are 7 more to go! I’d like to put a write up how I utilize VoIP for day to day communication needs. How I Practice for RHCSA

I’m using Debian Linux and i3 window manager. Debian was a previous install on my main laptop while I was preparing for CompTIA Linux+ / LPIC-1. Debian grew on me and hadn’t had time to reformat to CentOS. I do have several servers / VMs that are running on CentOS though. I experienced first-hand that there are several commands that behave differently in the CentOS / Debian world. I dont use DEs (desktop environments).

Google Analytics - 5 Days of Data

I’ve integrated Google Analytics in my site, it’s a great piece of software that tracks and reports website traffic. After 5 days of integrating it, I’d like to share some statistics. My favorite part of the report is the Sessions by Country, it lets me view where my visitors are from! Didn’t knew I have reached China and Singapore LOL! Next on the pipeline I want to learn is SEO, we gotta tell those search engines that we exist!

This site now utilizes HTTPS! HTTPS is the secure version of HTTP, the ’S’ at the end of HTTPS stands for ‘Secure’. It means that the communication is encrypted. PXE Server Using CentOS7 and OpenWRT

This will document the steps I did to be able to host a PXE server using CentOS and OpenWRT in my environment. Requirements for PXE server - DHCP server to assign IP addresses TFTP server to host the pxe files FTP server to host the install files DHCP Server Since I already have an OpenWRT router as my DHCP server, I cannot use the CentOS7 as a DHCP server.
