DJIA down by 3xxpts or 1.3x%

It’s been a while since I’ve checked MarketWatch. The last change I did to my portfolio was adding more funds and switching some of my bonds to Canadian Index, US Index and International Index last Jan02. Now I’ve checked MarketWatch and looks like DJIA is down by about 1.3x%. Instead of panicking, I consider this as opportunity to buy more at discount prices! I’ve rebalanced my bond funds again and my allocation now looks like this -

  1. Canadian Index - 28.25%
  2. US Index - 30.33%
  3. Canadian Bond Index - 12.61%
  4. International Index - 28.81%

I’m almost close to the allocation of 30-30-30-10. I’ll make the next adjustments on my next contribution. Happy investing!
